The CaF₂ USAF1951 Mid-Infrared Resolution Target is designed for 5233nm (5.23μm) laser systems and infrared optical applications. Manufactured on a high-purity calcium fluoride single-crystal substrate, it provides excellent transmission performance across the mid-infrared spectrum, making it suitable for infrared imaging systems, thermal cameras, FTIR spectrometers, infrared lenses, and optical research applications.
Based on the USAF1951 (MIL-STD-150A) resolution standard, the target includes complete Group -2 to Group +7 patterns for evaluating spatial resolution, image quality, and optical system performance. It can be used in optical development, production testing, laboratory calibration, and scientific research.
