ISO18844 Digital Camera Image Flare Test Chart for Lens Stray/Flare Analysis

ISO18844 digital camera image flare test chart for lens stray light / Flare analysis, mainly measuring flare, stray light; can be imported into the imatest software to analyse the results; this chart is a polyester film photomask, with a high density of non-reflective black patches added to minimise reflections.

① This chart has two structures, one one-layer structure and the other two-layer structure.

· In a one-layer structure, the black dot has an optical density of 4.5 and a transmittance of 0.000316;

· The optical density of the black dot in the two-layer structure is 9 and the transmittance is 0.000000001.

② This chart with Uniform Transmission Lightbox used in conjunction with the shooting needs to be in a dark room in total darkness, the surface of the chart can not have ambient light brought about by the reflection, otherwise it will affect the analysis of the results of the data.

Veiling glare analysis in earlier versions of Imatest software only tested glare data at points in a fixed area of the image, but glare data may be different at different locations in the lens. type C of the ISO 18844 standard is supported by the test card in Imatest V5.0 software, which can be analysed using either the Uniformity module or the Uniformity interactive module.
