The Trioptics SpheroMeter is a highly accurate, fully automatic contact spheroid gauge for high precision measurements of radii of curvature on convex or concave surfaces.

Product features:

1. The main structure is made of heavy stainless steel and has a concentricity of better than 1μm (0.00004") with the detector head
2. Measuring rings made from heat-treated stainless steel with ultra-high precision machining, each with calibration data and directly traceable to NIST international standards
3. The support balls are made of ruby or tungsten carbide to avoid thermal or mechanical deformation and are also concentrically positioned to better than 1μm (0.00004")
4. The software is easy to use and the results can be measured in millimetres or inches
5. The software automatically identifies concave or convex surfaces and automatically records the measurement results
