Ultra-fast spot color measurement

To process a chart with 1500 color patches, the time from inserting the color table to outputting the measurement data is about 4 minutes. In addition, the FD series can obtain results through one measurement under a variety of standard measurement conditions (M0, M1, and M2), so only one scan of the color table is required.
To ensure accuracy, the instrument scans with a series of ultra-high-speed actions: it accurately positions the FD-9 color sensor to each measurement point, then stops the scanning action, measures that point, and then moves to the next one after completion Measuring point.

Free chart format

The color patch automatic detection function makes the printed materials mixed with color patches and pictures or illustrations (such as sample chart 2) do not need a preset chart definition file when measuring, so the existing charts can continue to be used. At the beginning of each measurement, the FD-9 pre-scans the chart through the image sensor, automatically detects the measurement points, and then scans and measures the detected color patches. The color patch automatic detection function also means that the marker used by the traditional colorimeter to detect the color patch position is no longer needed.

In addition, you can use the grid to measure the entire page is full of color charts, such as the example chart 1, to distinguish which print areas are not uniform in color.

Automatic document feeder (optional accessory)

The optional automatic document feeder can load up to 100 charts into the document feeder at the same time, and can continuously measure. Because there is no need to place charts frequently, the instrument can also perform color measurement at night, which can improve work efficiency and reduce manual labor.

In addition to M0, M1 and M2 standard measurement conditions, color can be evaluated by user-defined light sources (measured by Konica Minolta spectroradiometer CL-500A or spectrodensitometer FD-7).
